The Little Gym is a child development program based on gymnastics and dance for children aged 4 months to 12 years. It promotes the child’s growth in a fun and welcoming environment while stimulating the development of motor, social, and cognitive skills, in a personalized and group setting.

The programs are organized according to age group:

• From 4 months to 3 years old, there is a Parent/Child Program. Parents actively participate in the class, promoting the relationship between the child and the parents, while also stimulating the development of rhythm, coordination, language, and numerical concepts.
• From ages 3-6, there is the Preschool Age Program. This is a progressive development program where children explore new challenges without parental supervision. Basic concepts of gymnastics and non-competitive games are introduced to develop perceptual, social, and cognitive skills.
• From ages 6-12 there is the School Age program. At this age, more complex gymnastics exercises are introduced with the aim of reinforcing each child’s self-esteem so that each child tries their best without the obligation to be the best.

In addition to the gymnastics program, The Little Gym organizes birthday parties for children from the age of one, as well as sports holiday programs in the summer, Christmas, and Easter.

Yes! We will reserve a spot for you at your chosen time for the trial lesson. A trial class is the best way to get to know The Little Gym’s program, staff, and facilities. You have the possibility to take a class without having registered beforehand.

Following the first class, you will decide whether you want to continue attending our program on a regular basis. The first trial class costs R$15 and must be paid when booking. By registering on the same day you will receive a discount of €15 on the first year of registration and insurance, reducing it from €50 to €35.

The registration form will be filled out later with attendance details, which you can check in the FAQs. In the first month, we will proportionally pay the monthly fee, based on the day of enrollment.

If you are unable to attend the trial lesson, you can reschedule it at no additional cost. All you need to do is let us know before the start of the class, preferably by phone.

If you are present and your child does not attend the class, we will give you the option to reschedule a new class at no additional cost. These situations occur more frequently between the ages of 3 and 4.

A child can start classes at The Little Gym any week of the year. Our programs are designed to challenge each child in a personalized way throughout the year. We always adjust the price if you want to start in the middle of a particular month.

Membership in “The Little Gym” is designed on an ongoing basis, as we believe this is the best way to develop each child’s abilities year after year. You can cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month following written notification to “Pequenos Diabretes Lda” at info.parquedasnacoes@thelittlegym.pt. If you have opted for the 1-payment option and cancel your attendance, the amount paid for but not attended will not be refunded or credited. After cancellation or suspension, the place will no longer be reserved during the main time slot. They should speak with the team to validate the available times upon their return.

Yes! Every week we have a different theme, and each child is enrolled in one of the time slots corresponding to their age group. The Little Gym program is designed to be attended once a week. If you cannot attend on the scheduled day, you can reschedule the class for another day that is convenient for you. These are make-up classes. There is also the possibility of scheduling a practice class to repeat the week’s theme. As we are obligated to maintain attendance levels in each class, we only request that families communicate with our team to confirm which children will participate and their availability at each time slot. When you cannot attend a class, please let us know so we can free up a spot for each child. We do not guarantee spots for make-up or practice classes, as these depend on parents notifying us of absences and available spaces.

The Little Gym Portugal offers two payment options for the 44 weeks of classes between September and July each year. Regular classes are suspended in August each year, and there is no payment; attendance continues the following month. You can choose annual payment or monthly payment, at a cost of €68. Monthly payments are exclusively by direct debit. These amounts are adjusted depending on the start date. The annual registration fee is per family and costs €50. Registering on the day of the first class will receive a €15 discount. Insurance is also included for each participating member, which renews annually, 12 months after the registration date.
